This confectionary cafe is most famous for Matcha Bavarois (Green tea pudding). Usually there is a line in fron the store but it is also available for take-away. There is a second floor for sitting and also a room with traditional Japanese floor sitting.

We came across this place after watching “Kantaro, sweet tooth salaryman” and explicitly came here for its famous matcha bavarois; we were not dissapointed as it did indeed taste heavenly. The bavarois was rather light even if its rich matcha green colour predicted something heavy....More

Very friendly staff with great traditional Japanese styled dessert that have a history of over 100 years. Here you will feel the hospitality and art of their cuisine

This tea and Japanese sweets shop was recommended to us by our cooking instructor in Tokyo. The store did not have a sign with English letters but the Google map location was bang on. You can probably identify it as well by the long line...More
