My partner and I fancied some western styled food during our trip and heard about this place online. We decided our food, a Caesar salad and the Buffalo burger. The owner recommended having the burger medium rare which was a very good choice. Burger was...incredible and my partner absolutely loved the Caesar salad. After finishing the lovely food, we had a chat with the owner who was very helpful and very friendly, who recommended some local places for us to get some shopping before we went home. Highly recommend this place to all, good atmosphere, great service and even better food.More

Went last Sunday—the place was packed and we had to wait for a table. Martiniburger says it offers "real, New York-style" burgers. The burgers are named after different neighborhoods. I had the "Brooklyn Burger". A thick, juicy burger (bigger than most in Tokyo), cooked medium...rare, topped with sautéed mushrooms, gouda cheese, Béarnaise sauce on the side. Amazing. Friendly service, fun atmosphere. Best burger I've had in a while.More

I went there for lunch and I was served the smallest burger I have ever seen with a sad ramekin of macaroni salad. No customers and no atmosphere. Avoid this place

Thanks to tripadvisor i found this lunch spot before my yayoi museum slot, but it's still a scorching 1km walk in the summer sun Nice burger, though my medium patty still came out medium rare. Had the brownie too

A real New York neighborhood feel good restaurant. Meat used is mixture of Australian and Japanese meat, cooked medium rare. Great martinis and jazz music playing in the background. Owner from New York greeted us.

I don't have hamburgers very often. Here evrything was right, the meal, including a pleasant chocolate brownie with strong enough coffee (not so frequent in Tokyo), the bluesy music, the attentive service. Curious to know who would have vodka with their burgers but beer is...also on offer. MD came and went. I don't miss them but I am glad we have this place in the neighborhood.More

I’ve been searching for a great burger since I’ve been in Tokyo and this is the first one that fits the bill. One of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere. Will return every time I’m in Tokyo.

We enjoyed meeting Martin, the owner. Service was great and we really enjoyed the burgers and their NY Style homemade cheesecake & brownies. It is a bit pricey, but it was worth the experience!!

There's a good selection on the menu. The burgers were juicy and came out just right. Cocktails were very good too. Top that off with Grade A service. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Tokyo.

We were sort of excited to try out the place, which looks fancy. Well, fanciness is included in the price. Nearly 2000 Yen for a burger, you have to make it extra good. Which was not the case. I took the burger the owner recommended,..."beer burger" (sauce has beer in it apprently). Meat is average and rather dry, the sauce is average also, the bun is OK but with a slight burnt taste. At another table, people were served some alcoholic beverages by mistake. Would be fun if one of them wasn't pregnant. There are lots of better options around.More

This burger shop was located in Kagurazaka area. The store wasn't NY style, just simple furnishings. Food menu offered basic hamburgers. Pickles, potato and gratin were served as side dishes for burgers. Price range was really expensive impression in the 1600 to 2200 yen for...hamburgers. First impression of my burger was so small!! and it wasn't worth for 1700 yen. Its taste was very natural, and made of good quality ingredients. Cooked at handmade. It was a high-quality burger. But, prices were calculated back from absolutely cost, so it becomes pricey. I thought that they need a little bit more corporate efforts to sell burgers at lower prices.More

Visited here for a change of pace from gorgeous Japanese cuisine. Great concept with beautiful martinis. We had the ribs as a starter which were juicy, tasty and pulled away from the bone like they should. We all had different burgers and my 2 companions...were agreeable from their silence and odd moan of delight. If your looking for a quiet relaxed place away from the frantic Japanese hustle, come to Martini Burger, you won't be disappointed!More

Just stopped in after visiting exhibit at the Esei-Bunko Museum. Great curated burger joint and homemade cheesecake to boot.

Delicious American food in an underserved area of Tokyo. Had the chili burger, creamed spinach, roast potatoes. The burger was top notch, not overdone, tasted superb. The creamed spinach surpassed a few steakhouses I've been in. Overall delicious food. Ambience is sort of a minimalist...Manhattan club/bar. I will be back.More

Even though self-professed virtues in restaurant advertisments are widely accepted as tongue-in-cheek, it is refreshing to see that Martini Burger is right-on with their claims. Yes, it is definitely better tasting than most other burger joints. And at 1600 yen per person (we decided to...pass on beverages), a meal at Martini Burger is indeed less expensive than going to a family restaurant. My wife and I split the namesake Martini Burger and the Brooklyn Burger and found both to be very tasty. Moreover, the spinach and macaroni were surprisingly good matches with the burgers (not to mention much more healthful than a side of fries). For dessert, the slice of New York Cheesecake was a also quite good and just the right size to be shared by the two of us. The good food combined with the comfortable ambiance makes this place really stand out. The lights were dimmed a bit, jazz played in the background, and the well-mannered patrons kept their conversations to a respectful volume. All this gestalted into a very relaxing dining experience - one that I would surely like to repeat in the near future.More
