Excellent pork dishes. Waited 30 minutes in the blazing July heat to get in just before they closed for the afternoon break. Worth it. Great food. Open kitchen. Quirky customers (the Japanese ones at least--we were a typical bunch of sunburned Americans).

We shared a tonkatsu don and a tonkatsu curry. Both were very tasty and the tonkatsu sauce was also very good. There was a bit of a queue but it moved quickly.

The tonkatsu set is inexpensive, taste excellent, definitely the best I have tried, very crispy outside and juicy inside. Small shop, cash only.
