It was late, but the chef squeezed us in for a last order. As an Italian, I can say that I very rarely had as good of a pizza outside my country. If you want a break from the amazing Japanese cuisine, go to this place for an amazing Italian Pizza

After a week in Japan eating amazing Asian food we fancied something European for a change. The food is ok but not great and definitely not worth the money. A few things we didn't like about the place: 1. The service isn't great - we had to chase our drink order a few times before it arrived. 2. There is... More

Great pizza and pasta. High in a Tokyo skyscraper this restaurant has renovated the inside to look like an Italian Trattoria with stone walls and lead-glass windows. Feels like Tuscany until you look out of the window and see the lights of Tokyo sprawling into the distance. Pizzas are thin and crisp and the pasta and sauces are divine. Also... More

The personnel is friendly, the view is nice, but the pizza is really average for an European standard.

This place was authentic-the Italian chef greeted me in as I walked in! I came to this place because I heard that it had a great night view of Tokyo. Although I didn't get a table next to the window because they were all booked out, I was able to snap a few pictures while I was waiting for my... More

We enjoyed a great launch with amazing view. The prices were pretty low compared to the service and food level. A really good choice!

To be fair we came here, to the 52nd floor of the Sumitomo building, for the view. And it is spectacular at night. So we decided to have a pizza in Spacca Napoli. It was expensive and it wasn't great, but then we were paying for the view!

A group of MBA friends and I went to this restaurant to get what many locals described as the best pizza in town. And they weren't wrong. The pizza was suprisingly good and the view from the restaurant was simply stunning. The wine list was also quite extensive and nicely selected. The prices were normal to Tokyo standards. Please do... More

I came to eat here many times with family and friends, and every time I'm impressed by the service and the nice food! Antonio (from Sicily) makes a perfect pizza and the chef Suzuki always welcomes us with new flavors. Nice wine list and amazing view.... And reasonable price!

After a while, it is tiring to eat things you don't recognize and pay prices that just seem wrong. But this is Tokyo! Fortunately, there is a terrific escape for those who need it. On the top floors of the Triangular Sumitomo building are a number of niche restaurants. Pizzo Rante is on the 52nd floor. The food tastes like... More

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
