We went for a quick coffee at around noon and were not disappointed! The cafe can be hard to find as its in the basement floor of a big office building with many other restaurants around. Once we found it, service was quick and efficient and the flat white I had was of a high quality. Would highly recommend it.... More

We have enjoyed coffee from here on a previous visit to Tokyo, last nights coffee was nothing but frothed milk which may in a former life had been in the same room as a coffee bean. The 100yen coffee from 7/11 was better, and that is not saying the 7/11 was good, just available early in the morning.

We decided to take a morning walk from the other side of Shinjuku to hopefully enjoy a coffee as it tastes back in Australia. Unfortunately it was far from that. Ordinary actually. Mine was weak and my wife's cold. Anyway, it was a nice walk and we saw lots of Shinjuku along the way.

The owner, Paul bassett is very famous person in the Barista world. The cream was creamy and host. then the coffee temperature is not so high. Although the atmosphere seems to be nice, there are party around the evening, then I have to leave the cafe due to crowded party.

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
