Average sushi, average prices - wouldn't say it'a particularly fresh and did see a bug flying around. There are better places for conveyor belt sushi in Tokyo.

Ended up here twice & waited in line. Such a solid life choice. Delicious sushi, friendly staff, & a great experience. Good valus for money & a nice change from being stuck with places like Yo Sushi back home! Recommend you give it a go, it is worth the wait!

Since sushi is all over Tokyo, it is not hard to find a sushi place almost anywhere. Conveyor belt places are, well, all over the place. Numazuko is not the cheapest, but it is worth the price. We had a quick lunch here. The sushi is fresh and good for the price. Waiting staff is average, nothing extra ordinary especially... More

From memory, this place have been around for a very long time (first visit for me was 2005?). I see that some people didn't seem to have a good experience but my solo experience was quite alright. I went at lunch and there wasn't much on sushi in the train so you need to order off the counter. The waitress... More

Seriously rude service! One waitress in particular was extremely rude to my family perhaps because we weren't Japanese. We asked her for water and for no reason she started raising her voice saying "Choto Matte!" (wait) continuously until everyone in the restaurant was looking at us. We immediately paid our half eaten meals and left. the average sushi is not... More

Avoid this place. Firstly, it's tourist trap. Secondly, the service was distinctly unfriendly (the only place in Japan we came across this problem). The restaurant had an unpleasant atmosphere, not helped by a waitress constantly giving us dirty looks. We left after eating very little.

We decided to hit Numazuko on our first day in Tokyo after we had read positive reviews and saw the queue of local people outside it. We were definitely not disappointed as the queue was rather fast (about 20 minutes with about 15 persons in front of us) and the meal more than satisfying. For a kaiten sushi it's a... More

One of the best Sushi restaurants at a reasonable price that we visited during our trip to Japan. The quality of their food for the price is exceptional. Do not miss trying their Uni, fatty Salmon, medium fatty Tuna and the best IMO the fatty Blue Fin Tuna

Came here for lunch while in Shinjuku area. Good sushi, prices fair but on the more expensive side for many of the dishes. We were there around 11.30am and there was a small line (5 mins) with plenty of dishes on the conveyor belt. A fair place for a conveyor belt sushi in Shinjuku.

Not bad but there are better options in the area like Himawari Sushi was OK, staff Friendly, have an English menu and was not a bad price. I just wasn't blown away

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
