Finding vegetarian food in Tokyo is very difficult, but this place was so fantastic we went there twice. They were very accommodating and the place had a great atmosphere, as it was cosy and very Japanese. The food was absolutely incredible, good value, and all...More

Went to this place because of high rating at TripAdvisor, and it was really average. This is not the place to go if you are looking for good, authentic Japanese food. + Cheap. Great service. - Not so tasty food, especially the chicken skewers

The staff is very friendly and the food is good. But the restaurant is a bit hidden, you only see a door with a stair going down, they don’t have windows.

The food was really good. Unlike most Japanese restaurants, they make more than one type of food, but everything they make is great. Quite a few vegetarian options.

Wonderful authentic restaurant in the heart of Shinjuku. Lovely hosts, great service and delicious food. English menu available. Try a bit of everything as it is all wonderful! We loved the skewers and bacon and asparagus dish.

Small nice authentic restaurant in the basement. The table fee is 300 yen per table. But don't let this discourage you, the food prices are fair. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious without exception. One of the best restaurants on...More

We visited this restaurant on our first evening in Tokyo, it didn't disappoint! We ordered the tofu, radish salad, salmon, Japanese rice and tempura veg and prawns. All the dishes were delicious and came quickly. The lady serving us was lovely and very attentive. This...More

Loved it. Fast, fresh , tasty, cheap ( 5k yen for dinner for 2 incl beers). Had 6 plates between us, more than enough. Doesn’t try to be comfy/chic but good at what it does.

Not big enough for 50 as it's only very small. There are vegetarian options, but they may not be good for strict vegetarians
