We came here for our wedding anniversary after many days of local food we thought it would be a change. The restaurant is in the French quarter so after a wander around this unusual area full of old traditional houses we found this restaurant, it was full but they fitted us in anyway. The food was delicious, we had 2... More

We were recommended to try the LUGDUNUM restaurant by friends who had fallen across this restaurant. We found it quite easily from the directions (Lidabachi underground station) We were welcomed by Christophe the chef owner and chose the" Menu des canuts" accompanied with a red Santenay wine. The meal was delicious and the wine superb - all is prepared in... More

Had a very nice business dinner in Lugdunum. The food was very innovative and creative with very good taste. Worth of the one star. The amount of food was just perfect in the Lyonese traditional menu which has a nice number of dishes served. The wine recommendations from the staff were perfect with the food. What made also great influence... More

This small restaurant was an amazing find in Kagurazaka. It is very French, apart from the attentive Japanese waiters. We had a entree, main and dessert lunch formula and every single dish tried by our group was plated immaculately and tasted delicious.

This unassuming French restaurant converted me into loving French food! The first thing one of my friends noticed was how clean the glasses were. Then this very friendly and efficient waiter came along and it would seem like his eyes were always on our table since he never missed a beat in serving us whatever we needed sometimes without even... Caught up with friends after ages at this traditional French restaurant in Kagurazaka. Visiting this part of town is a must if you come to Tokyo. The lanes & by-lanes of Kagurazaka have a trove of local traditional restaurants. And since L' Instituit Franco-Japonnais de Tokyo is located in nearby Iidabashi, its no wonder there is an array of upscale... More

Quelle surprise! Small, elegant, family run in a French neighborhood is so busy Tokyo. Duck was perfect. Lyonnaise salad and of course good wine and great baguette.

I went on a business dinner, and we got the 5 courses special set menu. Even though there was 5 courses, the quantity was just right and each course was a delight, very well balanced flavors and good quality products. Service was professional and nice A bit pricy of course for this exclusive set but worth it! Funny that my... More

We had 3 course set lunch. The service was impeccable. The food were delicious. Deserts were delectable. After our lunch we set out to find another nearby restaurant but we got lost and somehow return to Lugdunum. We asked one of the waiter for assistance. And would you believe this? He took us all the way to this other restaurant... More

We visited for lunch during a weekday, and we were blown away by the food, the service, and the value for the level of cuisine. 25 USD for a 3 course meal at a Michelin star restaurant is unheard of in the States, though I imagine it's more common in Tokyo. The food was relatively specialized to the Lyon region... More

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
