I am Hawaiian. I have had great katsu and I have had terrible katsu (I'm looking at you L&L). The food here is fantastic! I had the Berkshire pork, which was cooked to perfection. The unlimited cabbage with that tangy citrus creasing is divine. The service was a bit spotty (but not rude by any means), but I just chalk... More

Have to wait for a long time. The tonkatsu was a bit greasy. Over priced. Staff are friendly and nice.

Good value for money, nice tonkatsu and different variations. Busy but family-friendly and our toddler enjoyed the food!

I didn't have an idea of the premium pork called Kurobuta, but had to agree with all others that it was excellent. In fact, that was the best Tonkatsu I've had ever. Note that the cabbage is free refill and it provides a refreshing contrast to the deep fried pork, so be sure to eat a lot of that too.

This restaurant is known by the locals as the place to eat pork. We had panco coated loin so very moisted it was hard to believe...its basically their specialty. Location was an old bath house with kind service.

We ended up sitting down at the Japanese style table upstairs. Food was great and try the shochu-oolong tea

My wife was told that this restaurant was the place to go for Tonkatsu. After waiting in line, the restaurant opened. We were seated in a small room upstairs. The service was brusque. The vinyl tablecloth was reminiscent of a fast food, low class table. We ordered their "best" (most expensive) Tonkatsu. It was a somewhat dark in color and... More

Came here on Sunday midday and didn't have to wait too long for a table for 8 (roughly 30 mins). Ordered a variety of dishes and they all tasted amazing. The tonkatsu was super juicy and the batter was light & crispy. Easily the best tonkatsu I've ever tasted! The kids loved their kids meal which included a little katsu... More

Go here, you won't be sorry. Some of the juiciest, most flavorful Tonkatsu in all of Tokyo. I hit some other hot spots but this was my favorite...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
