Visited this small but perfectly formed bar in Ebisu. The service was impeccable and drinks sublime. If you are an Absinthe fan this is the place for you in Tokyo. The staff are knowledgeable and you have to try "The Five Pennies"... Awesome night with...More

This small bar in Ebido area has been a great surprise. They have a very good drink menù with some classic and some revised cocktails. Then also one page with their specialities with absinthe. I am not a lover of the absinthe, but all the...More

Nice place, perfect music, great drinks! You should visit its "brother" trench bar too, much smaller place but really nice!

Bar Tram is one of my favorites in Tokyo! They are one of the few bars in the city where you can buy a variety of absinthe, served in the traditional way, with sugar under a water drip. Bartenders are professional and knowledgeable and the...More

Nice little hipster absinth bar in Ebisu. The cocktails are quite well made with good quality ingredients. The only minus is that they are as small as the actual place.

Small beautiful place (~10 sits on the bar + ~8 tables) that makes you feel like you went back in time. Knows the job well done with cocktails creation! Creative food menu also available. Very good chilled music. Def recommend.

Excellent selection of absinthe and absinthe-based cocktails. Service is impeccable and friendly. They also take "bar food" to the next level--we especially enjoyed the gourmet "Katsu" sandwiches. Will go back.

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
