The first time I was asked to eat at a Gyukatsu, I was reluctant because I'm not a huge beef/steak fan. That being said, I was glad I did come. The meat was Tender, BEAUTIFULLY marbled and unforgettable. The sides were also very good, I...More

Based on reviews, we queued in the line 20 minutes before they opened at 11 am on a Sunday morning. Had 5 people ahead of us by that time. Believe there are only 9 seats at the counter. Tried my first gyukatsu and it was...More

Without a doubt, the best meal I ate when I visited Japan. Store opened at 11AM. We got there around 10.30 and we already 2 groups behind. Very famous and delicious.

It’s a small restaurant in a basement but if you can find it, eat there! There is a line due to its small size but it’s worth the wait! The tokatsu was delicious and I would definitely recommend it and go back every time I’m...More

Small place, not easy to see the entrance. The shop is downstairs. There are 12 seats at the table, 10 seats at the counter. Good system. While you wait, order the dish: big or small, how many side dishes, what drinks. Then pay before going...More

First off, you need to prepare for a long wait. We arrived at around 6:30pm and were given an estimate of 2 hours. We only stuck around for 45 minutes but that mainly because it was raining and we were too hungry to wait. That...More

There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
