Have been here many times and taken children and lots of friends. Dan cooks very tasty and delicious Israeli food and also has excellent wine and beer. You need to book for dinner but highly recommend for a good casual evening.

This place is a hidden gem. Found it online and we were pleasantly surprised at the excellent food. Very authentic and mouth watering. So good that we went there they next day again. Seats about 10 persons, small and family run setup with warm and lovely hosts. A definite revisit on the cards

Whether you are familiar with Israeli cuisine or this is your first time, you will not be disappointed. There is a nice selection of plates and dish's to choose from. As an Israeli myself, i was very happy. Everything tastes great! Good idea to call ahead as there aren't a lot of seating options.

I had the lamb shawarma with seitan, made vegan. Honestly some of the most flavourful food I've eaten in years. Incredible service.

We had a terrific experience at Ta'im in Ebisu! In fact, it was one of the highlights of our trip. The Israeli food was very authentic and fresh - they even fly in most of the ingredients from Israel, like the chickpeas for the hummus. Even the amazing Halva dessert was from Nazareth! It's also a great place to try... More

We are a family of both vegetarians (Vegan) and meat eaters so food in Tokyo is a challenge and always disappointing for someone. There is only so much fried vegetables one can eat. This restaurant was our saviour. It is a wonderful restaurant by any standard. The food is tasty and and we would eat here in any country. The... More

Cute little place, nothing fancy but you feel like being in Israel. Service is kind and fast. Hummus, falafels and salads are good. The venue is quite small so you need to be lucky to have a seat!

This is a little jewel box of a restaurant, within easy walking distance of Ebisu (use the river as your geographic point of reference). I went for lunch, and enjoyed one of the most economical options, the falafel set, which included a savory vegetable soup, hummus, falafel, salad, and fried potatoes (approximately 1200 yen). Owner/chef Dan was very pleasant. My... More

Got there 15 minutes after closing of lunch time but we were still invited in and served great food. The owner ate together with us the same, which from my view tells a lot about the quality of food. It's a place I will visit again for sure.

We were craving some vegetarian food and came upon this neat little place in Ebisu. Loved their falafel and hummus. Everything is made by hand. I'm overdue for another visit!

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
