This is the place to go for good value sushi served on shinkasen like conveyor belt. It's fun place to have a simple snack or a meal.

After eating at Sushi dai and dai WA for 3 days, we needed to eat something a little less expensive. This is a conveyor belt sushi where you order off an iPad and food comes down the belt right to you. You can switch to an English menu and the food comes fast. We loved this restaurant so much we... Brilliant place to eat cheap sushi. Me and the girlfriend went back 3 times. Its exactly what i imagined Tokyo to be like with the touch screen menu and electronic delivery system that runs across the bar, directly to where you are seated which was a fun way to do things. The cheapest sushi we found while we were in... More

We visited Genki sushi and enjoyed it so much we returned the next day to find it closed but found out they ran this restauarant also and it was only a few minytes walk away. Both places were pretty much the same, maybe a few a few different menu items. Had lunch here with our 2 kids aged 5 and... More

Caveat - the food is not 5* food but when you combine the coolness of the food delivery, decent food (3*), and ridiculously low price, I'd say it's a must see if you have younger kids (under 12) and are visiting Tokyo. It's likely to have a long line - you just queue and then advance (snake through the seats)... More

I went to Uobei on my friend's suggestion and it was a great idea! Much like many of the other popular Trip Advisor restaurants, it was very full of tourists and locals alike with a line to get a seat. Once you're seated, you order through an iPad and the sushi seems to magically come to you by conveyor belt!... More

Interesting concept - order from an ipad and the food is directly delivered quickly on a conveyor belt. The selection was great (rolls, sashimi, noodles, etc) and the prices were all around 100 yen a piece. There are lines out the door to get in so chose the time you attend carefully.

Nice sushi not bad. Good for the kids to order themself. Need to be early to get the seat. The green tea is good but the water not hot enough.

I've done a lot of research before my holiday and knew this was the place to go to when in Shibuya. It took a while to find but it did not disappoint, The prices worked out to be 60p per dish (which included several pieces of sushi each) and also includes a western-style page which catered for my mum who... Went in for lunch with the kids, pretty much with no expectations. For them it turned out to be the meal of the holiday. They loved the fact that they could order there own food on an iPad and then watch it come shuttling along the conveyor to their chair on a tray. I insisted they at least try everything... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
