All the yatoris were really good HOWEVER we had an "amuse-gueule" offered at the beginning of the dinner but it was actually not offered. The first bill we had didn't mention prices. It is when we ask for details that we understood we were charged 800 yen just for this started that we didn't even eat. After trying to negotiate... More

We had dinner here on our first night in Japan. I had our hotel make a reservation. The food was good but salty, saltier than other yakitori we had during the rest of the trip. I enjoyed the smoked cheese the most. The chefs were all very nice but the rest of the staff wasn't very friendly. I'd give it... More

Best meal in Japan. You will not be disappointed. Must ordered green peppers stuffed with cheese wrapped in pork. Must visit.

We were so lucky to have gotten a reservation at Fuku. We were running late because the trains were packed on a Friday night, but luckily, the restaurant is just a short walk from the Yoyoji-Uehara train station. Before we arrived at Fuku, we could smell the wonderful scents of the yakitori wafting through the air. As soon as we... More

I have had one of the best meals in Tokyo at Fuku. This place is a yakitori heaven and I was lucky enough to get a seat in front of the chef. He is a master and watching him preparing the skewers was amazing. Each skewer landed on my plate in a perfect timing and all cooked to perfection. The... More

This Yakitori restaurant is a hidden gem in Tokyo and a must visit for anyone that has the time. It is hard to find as there is no restaurant sign but don't give up!!

Very good Yakitori located in a residential area away from all the touristy stuff. Great place to have a nice, low key meal for a believable price that doesn't feel like its been jacked up for the tourists. Food was really good - we (wife and two sons aged 14 and 10) enjoyed everything. Staff was very accommodating and welcoming.... More
