Good old Yoshinoya is a perfect place for some inexpensive, hot food that tastes pretty darn good. I rarely venture from the classic Beef Bowl but it hits the spot every time.

Just wanting some cheap hot food on New Year day when most of the shops are closed. Food was OK and cheap price, recommended.

Yoshinoya at Japan was really good (even though I have it in my own country). The food comes quickly and the portion is really generous too! Personally loved the beef bowl - They have different sizes (M is equivalent to your normal portion, and they have it up to XL!) Definitely worth the money and tummy (;

Not too dissimilar from Nakau except you order not via a machine and you pay after you ate. Food is basic Japanse rice bowls at bottom prices. Food is fresh, hot and hits the spot especially after wandering around the city. Very good value.

It is fast, cheap, and good. Your typical Japanese fast food. One of my go to place for quick inexpensive lunch if i'm not in the mood for burger or ramen.

Super speedy fast food restaurant chain in Japan. Full of business men grabbing a quick lunch or dinner. Food is good for the price and service very fast. If you go in at peak times you may have to wait but there is a high turnover and you rarely wait for more than 5 minutes.

If you are looking for a quick inexpensive meal, I highly recommend Yoshinoya. Much better than dashing into a McDonald's. Besides, the standard beef bowl which is very inexpensive, there are steamed vegetables, grilled salmon on the menu. Healthier choices than McD.

Yoshinoya is a famous fast food chain in Japan and other parts of the world. It is quite busy during dinner hours, however the service is quite fast. Justice isn't served unless you have tried their gyudon, the staple of the franchise.

We visited today for lunch. Fantastic value and hot tasty food. Recommend the beef bowl and the curry.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
