We headed for this place on a Wednesday evening and arrived at around 9.30pm, but unfortunately they closed at 9pm so that's worth noting. We went back on Friday afternoon for lunch, the place had a nice buzz to it and the staff were amazingly friendly (as with everywhere in Tokyo) but the star here are the burgers, they are... More

Very juice meat. You can add what ever you want on your burger. The service was great too. A but pricy for a burger. But worth it to try it out

My husband and I bought the burger with cheese, avocado, lettuce, grilled onions, and tomato. We thought it was delicious, but what sealed the deal were the fries! It's oftentimes hard to find an establishment with a good burger and good fries, but Blacows fits the bill. I would definitely recommend giving it a chance if you want a great... More

I came here based on numerous glowing reviews, some calling it the best burger in tokyo. maybe because i came with such high expectations, i was left disappointed. I ordered their most basic hamburger, to better judge it: the patty, the buns. It came without any vegetables (okay some finely minced onion and a separate pickle), and a measly portion... More

This place offers very good burgers made of Japanese black beef. even if it is a bit expensive. All kind of toppings are possible. Open all day, it is better to go out of regular lunch and dinner times. The service is good and we enjoyed the burger with avocado and other hot chili burger. It is a good place... More

Really tasty burger, comes with sauce, pickles and potato wedges. You can buy extra toppings for the burger at a small additional cost. All burgers are wagu beef cooked pink which is perfect for me! Great service, couldn't fault it. Would definitely visit again.

There are so many trendy burger joints opening nowadays and, let's be honest, they're much of a muchness. It's hardly a complicated recipe - bread, meat, toppings! This place, though, takes it up a notch and it's all down to one thing - the beef. Melt in the mouth tender, juicy beef so full of flavour that only a little... More

I like my burgers and this one did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Ebisu is a cute little area to wander around after dinner too. Excellent experience.

Big and beautiful 'Black Wagyu' burgers well prepared in a welcoming setting. Not the cheapest burger in town but easily one of the best.

Read the reviews and had pretty high expectations but the final product surpassed even that! Juicy and moist, nice bread... Zucchini fritters as fries substitute is a great option... Only negative is the selection of draft beer but otherwise a great experience. Will definitely come back when next in Tokyo

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
