But...a pain in the rear to get in. Get there at 10 am and get a number for the 11am opening. Or be prepared to wait 1-2 hours. Once seated there was no rush. Courteous service. $30USD Omakase...cheap! The fish was outstanding. Worth the wait? You decide. I think there must be similar places in Tokyo...I'm no fan of a... More

The queue is quite long, get the number from the queueing before you sit down in the queue. Off-peak hour is totally better if you would like to try this place. Good food especially Kanimiso, akami is not so soft but other on the set menu were ok. The restaurant has more set-menus than before. Waiters and watiress are polite... More

Having craved sushi since arriving in Japan I was not let down by the fresh and beautifully prepared sashimi. We didn't get to the restaurant until630, they have a ticket machine and the number on that ticket is called when your table is ready. When we arrived they were up to number 302 and our ticket was number 373. We... More

If I want sushi in Tokyo, I visit here. It is an excellent value for money sushi place in Tokyo. It is conveniently located attached to the Shibuya station. The 2,000yen assorted sushi platter including crab and prawn is more than enough to experience and fill in one of the best sushi around without paying an outrageous price. You can... More

Wow, this Sushi is amazing. Period. There will be a wait. We first tried to get in on a Saturday afternoon...bad idea. The wait was likely more than an hour as we were 30 spots behind the current number. We came back on Monday and the wait was only about 15 minutes. The fish is simply amazing...and pretty well priced.... More

Perfectly located in Shibuya Mark City, the quality of the fish is excellent. Do not be afraid of the queue, in average you have to wait below one hour. There is a fair ticketing system in place, and if you catch a ticket before 11 you might be among the first to be seated. The tuna Sushi variation is my... More

2 yrs ago I reviewed this sushi house and said it was fantastic even with up to an hours wait to get a seat. I returned tonight on my 2nd trip to Japan and found nothing had changed. The wait was still about 1 hr from 6.30pm but was worth every minute once we got seated and had our first... More

We had to wait uncomfortably in line for over an hour, but it was totally worth it once we sat down in the cosy restaurant and were served our delicious sushi. The quality was excellent, one of the best I had in Tokyo and definitely value for money. The staff were friendly and prompt.

If the rating were only for the food I would definitely gave five stars. The food is simply beyond expectations! The biggest problem of this place the waiting time which in my case was around 2 hours! The other problem is the fast food atmosphere: intense lighting, noisy, crowded etc. All these don't mean that I don't recommend this restaurant.... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
