Before writing this Review I had to check which Mc Donalds this is, because there are so many in Tokyo. But ist the right one near our Hotel. There is not much to say about a Mc Donalds Restaurant, but the good Thing is that its still open after midnight. And thats something in Tokyo. Even the Metro is closed... More

The location of this McDonald's is great! They staff enough people for this busy location so you'd never have to wait for too long, and I almost visited here everyday for their corn soup. Yum!

The restaurant is on multiple floors. There staff is polite and efficient. We went for breakfast but could order anything on the menu. There is an English menu with pictures which is a great help. The food is well prepared and tasty, very similar to US McDonalds. Prices are excellent- large breakfast for nine ran $40. Seating areas are cramped... More

Huge line at Ichiran Ramen on the east side of the station . Was staying at Hotel Sunroute Plaza and was walking back. After nearly a week of japanese food, for some reason was really craving a burger. Very fast , clean and the Big Mac hit the spot.

I know reviewing a McDonald's branch is probably something no one wants to read but i had to mention that Tokyo's McDonald's was a completely different experience. First and foremost, the counter service was beyond excellent, the crew was efficient and absolutely polite. Everything was handled very smoothly and for the English speaking folks, there is an English menu. The... More

After a week of no-bread.... finally had to get a burger. Oh well. Quick service, English/picture menu. Dining upstairs in a cramped room. Food quality precisely what you expect from a McDonalds worldwide.

Fine and comfortable dining it is not. They were advertising American Vintage final dining, except for the loud 80s music and a few cheesy Americana images I wondered how this was a finalist. This might initially read like a bagging of the store, particularly the subject header, but it was filling food and the staff were efficient, as they are... More

It's your average McDonalds. It was convenient because we stayed at the Hotel Century Southern Tower and it's only a two minute walk from the hotel. However, it does consist of three floors, of which the first floor is the kitchen and counters, the second floor is nonsmoking, and the third is smoking. I just went for breakfast and the... More

Ate McDonalds a couple of times just to have something other than Japanese food. Also wanted to compare with American menu. I had the wasabi sauce with my chicken nuggests. It was spicey but good.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
