We read a lot about this place being touristic and overrated. Ok it is quite crowded and we were lucky to be accepted without reservation. But we were definitely not disappointed about the food. We had the best yakitori ever! And the staff was helpful and friendly. So we will return.

Very pleasant place and atmosphere and a spectacular view of the city (but only if you happen to sit on a table near the windows). A bit too touristic. Food is good and service also (although it can be a little slow sometimes). Try the mushrooms with minced chicken.

The food was just ok, nothing super special that would justify the price. We ordered a few yakitori and the soba. It was ok. The server was very nice and really tried to help us even though she spoke little English.

It had this vibe. Like a japanese resto in a foreign land. The chefs cooking at the grill were not japanese, heck not even Asian looking. Menu was in english and spanish but not in japanese. English menu was translated in such a way that even tourists unfamiliar with japanese food can easily understand. No locals where eating in the... More

Perched on the 14th floor, I visited for lunch with my wife. The set menu was fantastic. Shrimp ball, tempura vegies and shrimp, soba noodles with soy (made on site), appertizer, miso grilled fish and desert. Every dish was perfect, the service was great and watching the noodles being made by hand was cool. Staff speak enough English and are... More

I love this place. They have the best vegetarian sushi I tried in Tokyo so far. They even have a vegetarian menu! Ok for vegan and for vegetarian. My choice: the Shiitake Mushroom sushi & an amazing avocado sushi. I love it! Everybody so kind and gentle. I came here twice and I love this place.

Hands down, without question this Sushi is the best I've ever had. The fish was fresh and succulent, the rice perfectly seasoned and the miso, I've never tasted miso like it, it was incredibly hearty and flavorful. We also had a fruit sorbet for dessert, I have no idea what the fruit was, but I do know it was exotic... More

This is good for sushi and yakitori, but not too much else. I was looking for a menu that was more diverse and traditional and interesting, and this was not what I wanted as far as 'stepping out' on my last night in Tokyo. High floor, but unfortunately all the good view tables are reserves for private dining rooms. I... More

Very nice atmosphere, very good location and superb quality food. The price, expensive, as most of the restaurants in Tokyo...But not crazy Just remember to check whether they have sushi at that moment (they didn't have when we were there)

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
