One of the dating scenes of the characters in the animation 'Your Name'. This is one of the easier accessible spots among the scenes taken in Tokyo.

Getting a seat at the windows upstairs when you first arrive would be lucky, but there is other seating available. We were there in November and although freezing outside, the sun coming through the windows overlooking the crossing was quite warm, too warm in fact. Coffee was good, and we took advantage of the free wifi during our visit.

Coffee is great under its brand...but what make this branch unique is a view from 2nd floor over looking the busy crossing street.

grab a coffee, find a best spot, and look at the busy crossing pedestrian view! But it's really crowded at Starbucks itself, gotta wait some while for the empty seat...

True, Starbucks in pretty much Starbucks wherever you go, so you'll get no big surprises as far as coffee and such is concerned. If you like Starbucks, you'll like it here. But the 5-star rating is for a view unlike any you'll get at any Starbucks anywhere else in the world. It's a floor up, and overlooking the world-famous Shibuya... More

Granola and grande matcha latte, in a clean environment with easy listening music playing. These are the things, along with unobtrusive service, that make for a good start to the day. Not far from the Shibuya trading station and easily accessible from the street.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
