We were looking for Thai and came by this place. After a 10 minute wait, we got a table and ordered two chicken dishes (one with basil, one with veggies and tomato sauce), some fish cakes as appetizer and pad thai to go with our main dishes. The basil was pretty spicy, but the rest was not that hot. We... More

I ate lunch here recently during a visit to this area. My husband and I were starved and looking for something reasonable and quick. This small place was a great find. The currys we ordered were really well-prepared and reasonably priced and the service was very good. English menus were available. The restaurant is upstairs and navigating the stairs is... More

It was delicious but the size wasn't worth the price. Pattai was about half of the original size you can get in another restaurant. Not worth at all.

We only came here once at a really busy time in the evening, therefore the waiting time was 30-40mins. The restaurant is small but full of character. We tried the only non-veg curry available, which was super spicy. We love thai food, but this one was really spicy.

Thai restaurant is located in the back road from Meiji street in Harajuku. The restaurant had a rustic atmosphere with a lot of wooden interior of Thailand. Lunch sets were provided, and set meals had salad, curry, dessert and drink. Prices were about 1000 yen. I think when compared with the surrounding lunch market price, there had a enough volume... Second time to Kaffir Lime, first thing that welcomes you is the warmth and friendly ambience. Restaurant is themed to look like Siam-era, small but comfortably cosy. Owned and served by Thais, you will be delighted to sample dishes that are prepared authentic to Thai standards. Most of the dishes on offer are good, I particularly liked the deep fried... More

I've been here a couple of times over the years, when chao bamboo was full. It's always been okay. But this time... We ordered Cashew Chicken, Holy Basil Chicken and a soup. There was so much nam pla (fish sauce) in everything that I practically needed an IV drip to rehydrate all night! Won't be back, despite the lovely service.... More

We had an excellent lunch, at very reasonable prices, at this Thai place in a second floor. The green curry Chicken as well as the Garlic Shrimp served in a hot plate were excellent. Very good service also.

I've visited Kaffir Lime a few times, always at lunch, and have never been disappointed. There are usually three dishes to choose from which are accompanied with soup, salad and fruit and the price range is usually around ¥1000. Be warned, some of the dishes are really spicy which can be surprising if you are used to standard Japanese fare... More

Came for lunch, tried the Green Chicken Curry as well as the Cashew Chicken and both were very delicious! We got a salad and soup with the lunch menu and it was enough food. Very good! Will be coming back

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
