A Little hard to find as secluded behind a sliding door. Small izakaya where luckily they only charge for what they bring as things we ordered did not necessarily arrive. Food was fresh and good variety of yakitori including chicken hearts and skin.

This place is lively and buzzing. The waiters keep everyone up beat. The grills are good but not refine. They don't offer any sauce to accompany the grill items only child powders and soy sauce. The selection of meats and seafood is good. One of the seasonal dish worth trying is sesame tofu. Its a place to meet friends and... More

We waited in the cold for over an hour but the wait was worth it. The chefs selection was great as each time we ordered it the selection was different. The staff were friendly and helpful with ordering and explaining each stick of meat. Worth making a reservation for so that you can walk straight in.

Have just had the most amazing meal here! The staff and service were fabulous, even though there was a bit of a wait they were super appreciative of us waiting and they did not disappoint. Every skewer we tried was extremely well cooked and tasty. We ordered the chef's choice twice and it was different both times. The apple wrapprd... More

Offers fine yakitori and dishes within a nice atmosphere. Best place to prepare yourself for the night in Roppongi.

Loved this little restaurant, where you can seat on the counter and see the preparation of delicious yakitoris (one of the best I ate during my stay in Tokyo) or directly on the street when windows are open. Very original and funny. Of course the place is not really typical now, full of foreigners attracted by the good reviews, which... More

I came in for an early dinner, just in time to be seated without a reservation. They have only one beer available, but a wide array of Japanese Sake and Shochu are the main event for beverages. I chose the chef's selection of yakitori to get a taste of as much of the menu as possible. If you are seated... More

This touristy classic is really worth it : although it's always full and you should book, the reasons for their initial success are still there. Food is good, japanese style but easy to test. Atmosphere is warm. Tourist friendly but a genuine japanese feel. Book in advance!

Definitely much better than our previous yakitori experience what comes to the food. Food was pretty good and it was fun watching them prepare it. We enjoyed traditional seating as well. Stuff is pretty rude. Overall it was an average experience.

We found this in lonely planet and ended squeezing in with one of us on milk crates sitting on one side and the other sitting opposite in the window. This arrangement made total sense for a crowded night. We loved the mix of grilled meats, vegetables, and cheese; in fact we reordered our meal for a second round. The staff... More
