Ostrea is on a happening street lined with Izakayas, sushi bars and convenient stores, a unforgiving street if your fare is below par. Specialty are oysters from different provinces in Japan and places as far as Australia. Unfortunately I don't do raw oysters, but their bread-crumbed oysters are perfectly done, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Always... More

It's a good restaurant for fresh oyster lovers. They serve cooked oysters in different ways. Too congested and seating is not very comfortable. Clean, neat and elegant. Highly priced.

It is well laid out restaurant. Great service good table and relatively empty. The food was good snd the variety was all right. It was overpriced for what we got. The food was great The beverages and drinks were ordinary. Good place for a business meetings but not a good place to eat out with friends, as there are many... More

A must for lunch. Not only is Grand Central beautiful to visit but there is the Oyster bar. Old Salts, Rappahonnock's and Chincoteague's - not to mention an awesome She Crab soup. Hello!

I went with a friend on weekday night during their Oyster Hour( weekday 5pm-7pm), which you can order 6 pieces of oyster in half price. All the foods there are awesome, wine selections are not bad, decent price, would like to go again soon.

After my attempt to dine here was a scary experience. I was served several pieces of a dish called "Luck of Lamb". The first bite under the thick sauce was a cold raw piece of lamb. After showing the waiter, the lamb was taken away. Now this is where it gets worse; after a very short minute or so, the... More

Huge variety of super fresh, super yummy oysters! Great service. And must try the mango mochi desert too. Oystrea in Akasaka and Roppongi are both great; Akasaka has better atmosphere given its location.
