At least you have to visit this restaurant at least once in your lifetime, it's situates next to Tokyo tower with a beautiful Japanese garden. I've tried the lunch and dinner before and the atmosphere is quite different. For lunch, you can enjoy the garden view very clearly . For dinner, it's more romantic. The food is also nice but... We were in a group of 4 adults and 1 child. The staff was especially accommodative with the young child which we very much appreciated. We ordered the 'moon' lunch set and standard of the food was excellent. The in season ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. With the exquisite garden and the very traditional Japanese ambience, the whole dining... More

The building is a very traditional Japanese style just next to modern Tokyo Tower, so the location is very much center. This restaurant is specializing in Tofu Kaiseki (Tofu course), so I do not recomment this restaurant for those who do not like Tofu so much. Otherwise, worth to go there at least one in a life, while you are... More

We enjoyed a wonderful "Kaiseki", the traditional multi course menu for lunch! I wanted to reserve for dinner in the evening but it was already booked so we reserved for lunch time. And it was great! We could see the beautiful Japanese garden from our private room! When I made a reservation on the phone, I was told that they... More

A great place to visit after dark when the tower is illuminated. Very traditional Japanese multi course menu from sushi to sashimi but famous for its boiled tofu in seasoned soya milk. Waitress spoke good English and explained everything course by course. We ate 9 courses washed down with beer and saki over two hours. Impeccable serving style sitting at... More

For our 1 year wedding anniversary we booked to eat here. It's like stepping into a time machine, back to the ninja and samurai times it is beautiful! The atmosphere is incredible, the running water of the little pond over sounds the road and traffic outside out the premises. The sounds of calming water and eligance of traditionalism. The food... Beside Tofu, the restaurant also offer other great food in traditional manner. So prepare yourself with enough time to enjoy it, touring around the house, walk along the garden. Get a feeling of Japan's gourmet food culture.

This is one of the loveliest Japanese garden restaurant in Tokyo. The dining areas n rooms have views of the garden and pond. Remarkable setting. The restaurant serves delicious tofu cuisine made by their own workshop. It even has a shop in the garden that you can buy different type of tofu to take home. Easily accessible by foot after... Such an amazing experience having lunch here. The location and setting is superb. It's like you walk into the garden of a Japanese aristocrat mansion. The food is also amazing. I especially love the grilled tofu and cold tofu in light seaweed soup, which are both their signature dishes. Service is very Japanese, very humble, very gentle, very 5-star. It's... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
