When I go to somewhere that there is L'atelier de Joel Robuchon, I always want to go there. It's never disappointing. One of my favorites is the langoustine ravioli. This time I went to L'atelier de Joel Robuchon in Tokyo. The quality and the food was really good. They have some which are different from others. It's recommended when you... More

This place should be embarrassed to charge the prices they do and provide horrible service. Our waiter informed us 1/2 way thru dinner that he had worked enough for the day and was leaving us in the hands of the bus boy. The restaurant had only a few tables seated and our service was almost non existent. We had to... More

Service is cold and not engaging. Overall value for money is just average. We had chicken and veal for mains, and chocolate ganache and mango-mango for dessert. The chocolate ganache and chicken were good. Was distracted by the bland amuse-bouche and bread served (no frills). Can't believe this is 2 Michelin stars especially with fake fruit and fake ice for... More

For ¥4800 (US$40) you can't quibble about the value of my set lunch: amuse bouche of pork rillette on toast, perfect gazpacho, well-executed John Dory as a main, and light eclair with strawberry to finish. Best espresso I've had in Tokyo to finish. But as for worshipping at the Michelin altar - forget it. London has much more atmosphere, it... More

I was disappointed with the food in this restaurant despite the name it carries. The waiters were somewhat cold and unfriendly, more on the arrogant side to be frank. Had very high expectation on the food but it turned out that it was too mediocre. Though I appreciate the open kitchen concept while you can casually sit on a stool.... More

Dined at a Michelin 3 star for the first time and wow, was the hype worth it!! Absolutely incredible experience with the food, service and presentation. Every single preparation was par excellence and the wine was expertly matched. The star of the show was the beef with Foigras. Extremely expensive but worth every single penny. Highly recommend this place

We rang up the very same afternoon for dinner reservation and were pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate us. Upon our arrival, we were ushered to the counter seats facing the dessert making table. So during the whole dining experience, we had the pleasure of seeing the dessert chef hard at work coming up with desserts that looks... More

Dinner was okay. Perhaps cultural, language (which means the staff are very efficient yet not engaging) but there was more to it. Service was just okay, bread was completely a non event, as was the olive oil. They under-poured my white wine a lot and even after I protested (mildly), did nothing. The scene in the background (I.e. Kitchen) did... More
