Authentic, great service, choice of spicy & mild. Chef's, cooks & wait staff are majority from India so, pleased with that. On top of that, bilingual in Japanese & English as well.

The night before I had eaten at Ahilya Indian restaurant in Shinagawa area so I wanted to tried a different restaurant and I went to Moti. The server convinced me that instead of Chicken Tikka Masala I should order Chicken Do-Pyaza which would have spices, mixed veggies and a much better tasting gravy. Alas, I was greatly disappointed. Even the... More

Decades later Moti is still good, Akasaka and Roppongi, solid Indian cuisine. All the food is fantastic, The Akasaka branch will still rustle up an old favourite, chicken Boti kebab, even though they took it off the menu years ago. It isn't flash, or modern, but Moti has a certain charm and does not disappoint.

I've been using Moti in Ropps for over 10 years and know the menu very well. This restaurant is not as good and even though I work within close proximity, I go out of my way for Roppongi instead. The last time I went I asked for medium spicy but was instead given extra spicy, so hot it was inedible,... More

My brother and I visited Tokyo for 10 days and stayed at Akasaka. We found moti and visited a couple times during our stay. The service was as expected in Tokyo - very polite and friendly. As a vegetarian with gluten allergy I found eating in Tokyo very difficult. However, the food at Moti was both delicious, vegetarian and allergy... More

Okay, so i found this place with a lil higher rate than average Indian restaurants in Tokyo, but they had awesome food. The staff if very co-operative and friendly. The food came on time with a gracious smell. The Nan had a good size to be good for a big guy like me. The fish curry was the best fish... More

We went to this place last night per recommendation of fellow passengers on a tour to Mt Fuji. Food was excellent quality; we are of Indian origin and live in NJ, so I can attest to its quality. The service was fantastic. Normally, we've found that in restaurants in Japan you have to ask for them to fill your glass... More
