A small bakery on the basement floor of the chateau in Ebisu, it has flavorful pastries one must try. We had the brioche seasoned with Sauternes wine and it was one of the best piece of bread I had. No seating so recommend buy a...More

A secret little patisserie in the basement of the famous restaurant (supposedly Tokyo’s best). Tokyo has dozens of great French patisseries, and this one is the equal of any we tried. Our group of 5 each tried a pastry, and for 3000 yen total it...More

If only it was for being a Joel Robuchon it worth the visit. Delicious French patisseries, crepes and mini cakes as they should be. Helpful staff, elegant decor. Try to get an outdoor seating. 7/10

Good sandwich offerings and an impressive array of sweets. Good housewarming gifts. And it has decent operating hours -- open very early in the morning and shuts late in the afternoon.

Absolutely superb bakery... everything we tried was really delicious... both savory and sweet... obviously not low in calories, but who goes into a french style bakery expecting a low calorie experience ;-) Seriously good - very Paris :-) Loved it...

I went there 3 times during our 3 day stay. French pastries in Japan somehow works. Yumm. They have savory pastries as well as sweet. I had a wonderful wild mushroom and gorgonzola tart.

Stopped here to pick up some pastries, and they were excellent. Also liked their caramels (regular and green tea flavours).

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
