Jam-packed with locals and for good reason. Lively atmosphere and outstanding yakitori. I recommend the bacon-wrapped mochi.

We regard ourselves as foodies, which is why Japan, Tokyo in particular, is heaven for us. It is just hard to go wrong. That said, as much as we appreciate and love the many Michelin stars the city has to offer, places like Kushiwakamaru are...More

I went here with a friend after work in the middle of the week. She'd been there before and we weren't disappointed. The taste of the food is good, but not exceptional. Prices are very affordable. Overall a nice and atmospheric experience I highly recommend.

Near Nakameguro train station, this unpretentious yakatori place feels like a local hang. Not so keen on people being allowed to smoke, but otherwise the restaurant is a fun and crowded place. Particularly liked the pork, chicken wings, leek and bacon and aubergine skewers. Good...More

This small restaurant makes the best yakitori! We came early and were lucky to get a table. Will definately go again.

It's a funky, hip and happening place this one and it's no wonder once you've sat down and eaten here. Yakitori is pretty special here and the atmosphere and location perfect too.

One of our favourite meals in Tokyo. We got there quite early and managed to get a seat at the bar in front of the chefs. It was incredible food!

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
