I came here during a shopping trip a few months ago and it was delicious. Just had another visit after arriving in Tokyo late - my taxi ride there and back was probably more than the meal but well worth it! The green pepper stuffed with cheese and chicken skewers are a must try. Tight seating and some waiting is... More

The best Yakitori around. Very cool Japanese restaurant. Good is excellent for the price. Get there early because it fills up quick! They have an English menu and give you appetizers that more Gaijin prefer.

The restuarent does not accept reservations and ideal time to go is around 9 pm. 15 mins wait and yu have yur table. Squeezed up a little and built for an average japanese but the uncomfortable seating is soon made up the atmposhere. The cheese green peppers, chicken meat ball, the smoked duck, aspharagus bacon, leek chicken were to die... More

2 of us turned up around 915pm on a Tuesday night & were told to come back in an hour. Came back 40 mins later & got seated. Service great, food even better. We had 7 skewers (ranging from duck to chicken neck to scallops) & 1 round of drinks which came to 6800yen. Nice atmosphere and good buzz to... More

Just do yourself a favour and go. .... But because I need to write some more characters to fill the review, I'll flesh things out a little. Really cool little Yakitori place just off the river and within a reasonable walking distance of Shibuya station on the JR Yamanote line, or even closer to Meguro subway station. Yakitori includes cuts... More

Great Yakitori near meguro river... Traditional Japanese Yakitori Restaurant where you meet almost only Japanese people. It is small place with long queue. Better come earlier to don't wait that long. Unfortunately it is restaurant where most people are smoking. There is not wifi:( We recommend it.

If you are looking for extremely good yakitori and a few cold beers and/or some sake, this is the spot! Everything we had here was absolutely delicious and the vibe in the restaurant was also awesome. We drank beers, we ate yakitori, we drank some sake, we ate more yakitori and basically just repeated that process until we were ready... More

I am not a yakitori aficionado, but my boyfriend is from Japan and knows his food and majority of what Tokyo has to offer in that department. He took me here last week because it's one of his fave spots, and I was seriously blown away at how delicious (oh-i-shee des hehe) and affordable this spot is. In addition, it's... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
