Our large family group had our dinner here. I appreciated the effort of the staff to seat all 16 of us on one long table and the effort they made to serve us properly. That said, I found the food quite ordinary and thus disappointing given the reputation this place has. I had the soup of the day to start,... More

We have been invited to Victor's French restaurant. Food was excellent, I have no idea about the prices... Hotel is proposing to have breakfast there for additional fee, so you can enjoy the city view from there.

The fun part of it was the dessert, vegetables with a chocolate dip, but rather than that a great experience. The risotto was great.

The tedium of business travel can sometimes be alleviated by some opportunistic discovery. It was not so this evening when I ventured into an empty Victor's. It is early, so I thought, and surely the crowd will soon appear. I had eaten at the restaurant previously and had not be won over but was sufficiently happy with the distraction that... More

Don't get me wrong, this place is quite OK...but the taste is not really great. They have a nice separate room, ideal for some business luncheon when the focus is not on the food itself. Nevertheless you have to feed yourself and on that particular occasion I was not really satisfied. I left the main dish after looking at it... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
