My sisters and I had dinner in Chateau de Robuchon, and it was an overall nice experience. The place was elegant. The food was delicious, I particularly liked the caviar and their bread selections. It's a nice place to celebrate special occasions with loved ones. Plating was lovely! Just don't mind the cardboard cutouts of the food they sometimes stick... More

This is a great special occasions place. My wife and I really enjoyed it. You walk up an amazing staircase to enter the main dining room. The tables are all spaced apart to allow plenty of privacy. The service was impeccable. They even took a photo of us with their camera and gave us a picture in a nice envelope... More

We went there for lunch . The food were amazing. The environment is great. The service is excellent. I felt like I went to French when I was dinning in the restaurant. Food is tasteful and beautiful. I love the cheese cart and the desert cart. It's like a all you can eat buffet but in a fancy way. remember... More

The location was great and the food was average and below expectation. Pros - The bread selection is great and very tasty and the wine was lovely. The service level was well below average for the rating. The staff were particularly noisy with one table which took away the ambience the place should have had. The spacing of the courses... More

What a charming restaurant this is! I would recommend going early to enjoy a cocktail in the lounge area. It's a gorgeous room decorated with a rick red and black decor. They never asked us if we'd like to have a drink first before we sat down for dinner. Which we typically like to sit and relax first but we... More

We went here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. The service is wonderful, if a little too clingy (every time we had a sip of wine it was filled back up, so it didn't feel very private/intimate). Loads of amazing food - we had the set menu of ten-or-so courses. The steak main was amazing, although I was too... More

As expected from all of Chef Robuchon's Michelin multi-starred empire, this 3 star entry does everything right. It's beautiful, the food is exquisite and the service charming and exacting.

Certainly meets the expectation that one might expect at the temple of gastronomy with Joel Robuchon. Service was impeccable, and the food was brilliant for what it is, classical nouveau cuisine. Cheese and dessert cart was magnificent!

The restaurant is really beautiful , the entrance will transform your mood into something very special ... We were 6 people and I told them in advance that I am inviting my guests . It felt like the sommelier trying to take advantage of that and and from the moment we entered he started to try and push us with... More

I waited 17 years to eat at this restaurant. As a young student in Tokyo, I couldn't afford a meal here. I knew Robuchon's reputation and Michelin stars. So now back as an adult with my new husband, I have to say this has been one of our most delicious and dignified culinary experiences ever. I made reservations a month... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
