The popular restaurant in Tsukiji market is part of the network, represented even in the United States. But probably the right thing to taste sushi in Tsukiji. It's not cheap, but it's not fatally expensive either. Two dishes cost 1280 yen. We live in Murmansk,...More

Stopped there after handing out at the Fish Market (10am'ish) and felt like Sushi would be a good idea. The rain pushed us to go to a closed place and we were quickly welcomed and served. Friendly staff with basic English knowledge, enough to take...More

While walking around Tsukiji Market our tour guide pointed out a statue of Mr. Tuna! We recognized him immediately, as the restaurateur who bought the $3.1 million dollar tuna. Of course we wanted to have lunch there. And we were glad that we did. In...More

The food was definitely up there for sushi. But then again, it's Tokyo so you'd expect this quality... it wasn't the cheapest, nor the best sushi we had during our entire trip in Japan, but it was definitely good. The service was English friendly and...More

Sashimi were really excellent quality. Place is quite busy at lunch time. You might have to write your name on the sheet outside and wait. But it is really really worth the wait.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

I went to a branch at Tsijiki fish market. So far they can communicate in simple English. The menu has picture so made it easy for me to order.
