Great sushi and the setup. This is an ala carte place and they offer set menus as well. Open 24/7 and went for sushi at 3.00 am in the morning and there are still people enjoying the food.

The restraunt is located in Tsukiji. Although Tsukiji-market moved to another town, Toyosu, there are still many sushi restrants in the erea. When I went to this restraunt, was surprised to see many staff spoke English fluently and explained about fish or sushi to custmers....More

I never go to Tokyo without a stop there, never. Located nearby Tsujuki market, the place is famous for his owner… The latter is the one who spends each year 1 000 000 $ in the tuna auction. Bad publicity for westerners (whom I support),...More

What a fun place to eat. A lot of energy. Very welcoming. Presentation incredible. Food delicious! Highly recommend people add this to their list of places to eat.

Visited Zanmai on great reviews but disappointed. Sushi was very average. Nothing exciting. A little bland (could barely taste any wasabi). I've had much better for the same price so wouldn't return.

We went there as part of lunch with Road Scholar trip. The food is fresh and made in front of you and then goes around on a carrousel. The atmosphere is fun, I recommend going there.

I asked the hotel staff for sushi that local folk would eat and was immediately told to go to this place. It’s quite gritty looking - but the food served is said to be the best sushi in town and they’re licensed to serve the...More

At the heart of Tsukiji market, we had a Sushi breakfast at 9AM! The food is tasty and very fresh, good value for the Yen. The speak some English, so it is more convenient to order what you like. A must spot in the market.

Went there with friends for dinner. The service was great as most of us don't speak Japanese. Ordered a few seasonal specials and they were fresh and tasted heavenly. The environment was also very good for gathering too. Definitely worth a revisit.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

I went to a branch at Tsijiki fish market. So far they can communicate in simple English. The menu has picture so made it easy for me to order.

New store of a "SUSHIZANMAI" 37 store eye. Number 1 of Hibiya Line Tsukiji Station is immediately from an entrance and exit way in a store, I have that along Shin-Ohashi Dori. Craftsmen proud of Tsukiji and the fresh ingredients direct from the farm take the best sushi and offer it like an other store. By a storefront as well as use in the store, some kinds, colorful "takeout" is being also sold, so please use it any time.
