This is a lesser known high-end small sushi restaurant with top quality sushi, a great list of premium sakes and omakase options. Chef is extremely talented not only to make the best sushi, but also to anticipate and manipulate your taste buds and mood, to sequence your every bite in the right order which creates the best experience and satisfaction.... First of all - the location on top of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel offers incredible views over Tokyo. In true Sushiya style, the restaurant only has 14 seats on the counter. The Omakase is the way to go here. They have a comprehensible Sake list, we just had beer to go with the sushi. The only dish I wasn't fully... More

After arriving on a long overseas flight from NYC, this was a welcomed surprise for these weary travelers. What an experience! So personal, interesting, delicious and private and all with a spectacular view of the city. The chef was awesome and talented - what a way to start our Japanese adventure!

We both ordered the least expensive sushi menu and ended up spending over 400 dollars between that and the sake tasting menu, but it was an incredible experience. The view was unparalleled and the sushi chef was engaging and prepared the whole meal right in front of us with the freshest fish.

Located on the 38th floor of the Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo, the restaurant has a fantastic view over Tokyo Tower. Imaizumi-san is welcoming and speaks good English, no other sushi-ya in Tokyo offers such an amazing view over the city’s never-ending skyline and most importantly, the sushi is superb !!!

We went for a dinner and had an amazing dinner with a magnificent view!! All the sushi is fresh and made in front of you. The service is outstanding and the waiters and chef are extremely nice! It was my birthday and they surprised me with a happy birthday dessert, it was very good! I definitely recommend Sushi Sora!

Was here for lunch, and had some really amazing edmoae sushi. The interaction with the chef, mr. Yuji Imaizumi was perfect as he explained every step. To add, the view from 38th floor at the Mandarin Hotell is really breath-taking.

This is my second time at Sushi Sora, and is still the best sushi in Tokyo. The perfect mix of traditional food with amazing service. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for the best quality in sushi.

This is a very luxurious but intimate restaurant - just 8 comfortable seats at a beautiful counter. It follows the style of the tiny top sushi restaurants in Tokyo, but is much more comfortable and stylish. The sushi chefs and the waitresses all speak some English and are delightfully communicative about the food and the sake. The sushi is absolutely... More

Had the chance to come in for lunch to try the sushi restaurant at MO. First was not sure since I've done also some other booking for very well known sushi restaurants in Tokyo, however this ended up to be the best experience. The restaurant has w very simple and contemporary setting and design. On the top of that, the... More
