What an experience. My first contact with molecular cuisine and I was stunned by the technical aspects of it but also, and more importantly (that remains food!), by the wonderful flavors. Spectacular! The menu is all set so no need to scratch your head for an hour choosing what you want. The chef is right in front of you working... More

This restaurant is simply amazing. I had, hands down, one of the best, most exciting meals of my life .From start to finish they put on a show that is paired with delicious food. I am not always a fan of molecular gastronomy but they use it in the most perfect way. I will definitely be going back next time... More

I read the good reviews of the restaurant from Tripadvisor and decided to visit on our trip to Tokyo. It met all expectations! Each dishes were very uniquely and beautifully prepared (deconstructed/reconstructed), yet they reminded you of your favorite home dishes. All 16 courses were delightful. The two chefs were fun and engaging, the venue had one of the best... More

My fist time eating a 16 course degustation meal - what an experience! Every element was prepared and executed perfectly. I really enjoyed sitting along the bar watching them make it all. We defiantly not a cheap night, but highly recommend if your a foodie and wanting a total sensory experience.

This was the highlight of our food experiences in Tokyo. Without ruining it for you it is an amazing 16 course dining experience. The chef is very interactive and explains how each course is created. The staff are wonderful and the food is to die for. It was our first experience of this kind of dining. We were blown away... More

This place deserves it's status as Number 1 in Tokyo. You sit at a bar, maximum of 8 people per serving, takes just over 2 hours. The Chef is entertaining and attentive. The flavours and presentation are outstanding. 16 courses, and I looked forward to every single one. I've done a lot of very expensive restaurants, often they can leave... More

This is not a regular dinner, this is an experience. Lovely and humble chefs, delicious food and lots of fun. They went an extra mile to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary which was a nice surprise since we haven't requested anything special. Definitely must try in Tokyo!!!

Outstanding. Intimate setting at a bar/counter. Charming chef willing to chat and explain everything, answer questions. Amazing kaiseki style meal with molecular techniques such as spherification and use of liquid nitrogen. Lots of delightful playful surprises when things are not what they seem e.g. "Beer" that is really carrot consommé with a milk foam or a "fried egg" which is... More

We went there in our honeymoon. We love eating, trying culinary experiences and places with nice views. Tapas Molecular Bar had the 3 of them. Staff is amazing since you cross the hotel’s door. Views from the bar also deserve to enjoy an after dinner’s drink. In my opinion food in Tokyo is great and you can enjoy it without... More

Sure, this place is expensive, and it's not Michelin starred, but does that matter? Not in my opinion. It's a fun, creative and unique dining experience. And, for the most part, the food is delicious. There were a couple of dishes where the flavours were a little odd, but no less fun to try. The presentation, the atmosphere and the... More
