A nice quiet and quaint Japanese Steak House serving really tasty and well cooked (medium is medium) Japanese Beef...you have choice of Tajima, Matsuzaka, and higher grade beef! They have an English speaking staff which proved very helpful. We had Matsuzaka beef and we were...More

This is, by far, the best steak that we've ever eaten. This is also the highest price that we ever paid for a steak – almost $300 for a 150 gr. highest grade Matsusaka beef fillet (plus appetizer, miso soup, Japanese pickles, rice, etc.). So...More

I was invited to a business dinner here, the host had reserved a room for the dinner. I arrive slightly early and was seated first. I do know the Japanese etiquette that a guest suppose to sit facing the entrance. But the staff placed the...More

Without a doubt, an absolute must for anyone hoping to taste some of the best beef in the world. We visited the Tsukiji Satou branch on Monday evening and were blown away by the best steak we have ever tasted at prices that while steep,...More

Satou -- for now my former go-to place for matsusaka beef. While their Kichijoji store can justify the occasionally rude service and claustrophobia-inducing setup because the food is much cheaper, I don't know what the Tsukiji branch can say about how my last dinner went....More

This place was covered by Steak (R)evolution, which is why I went. It is a wonderful experience from start to finish. A classy place, that allows for wine corkage, so bring a bottle to pair your steaks with a good red. Be cautioned, if you...More

I had lunch with my wife. This restaurant ranks No. 3 in the movie, "Steak (R)evolution". I had a Moon Meal and my wife had a Flower Meal. Expensive, but good. Matsuzawa beef served here is extremely tender, maybe too tender for some people.

Came here for a quick lunch after a meeting. The server I got had very poor English with a strong German accent. She was useless. I ate at the Satou and the service was much better. I ordered the 5000 jpy course and while it...More

Been a regular customer for close to 10 years. A little hard to find but not impossible with google map help; worth making the effort. Dinner time is very expensive (average $300 per person w/o drinks) but lunch time is very affordable ($35-60 per person...More

This place is called Tsukiji Satou not Sato, hard to find but worth seeking out. Ask hotel concierge to arrange a taxi. A real Japanese teppanyaki steakhouse. They serve Matsusaka beef (a type of Wagyu whereas only female beasts are farmed, fed beer, massaged etc)....More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
