We just enjoyed an outstanding evening meal at the Sense restaurant, the best Cantonese style food we have ever had the pleasure of eating. The Peking duck three ways is a must have. The wine list is extensive and covers all budgets, the service provided by all staff was impeccable! Truly a memorable experience that we will not forget.

I was lucky to be able to get a seat as I checked in the hotel , with all honesty they've went out of their way to give me one of the best seat in the house , with a stunning view I've chosen one of their set menu options , it was satisfactory at every level , The duck... More

Several people have described Sense as the best Chinese food in Tokyo. Well they clearly know nothing about Chinese food or nothing about Tokyo, possibly both. Views from the restaurant are breath taking. Sadly the same can not be said for either the food or the service, Whilst the food which I chose to order was good, but not outstanding,... More

I have been to Sense 3 times for dinner, twice for business, but on the most recent visit I decided to take a good friend. MO Tokyo restaurant reservations are a bit of a struggle in that, booking from outside MO at least, it is difficult to connect with the restaurants directly, and they prefer you book through a central... So, actually pretty excided to come here, while visiting Tokyo. But ending up with the same experience as Rob(rewiew below). Wiew, great, but thats about it. To big menu, way overpriced considering what else there is to eat in Tokyo. Stif and cold service, felt like they where trying to hard. Had Peking duck for two, 3 servings(ca12.000 yen) and... More

While we were staying in Tokyo, I booked us a table for lunch at Sense located in the fabulous Mandarin Oriental hotel. I am a huge Dim Sum fan and I didn't want to miss the chance to taste Michelin starred yummy parcels of food. We were greeted with big smiles when we arrived and got taken to a lovely... More

The food was good at best; our main issue was the whole dining experience does not represent value for money in any way. We had a lot of excellent meals in our two weeks in Japan, some expensive some cheap. This was the only one we felt disgruntled paying for. We ordered fairly frugally and in return our waiter lost... A group of 10 of us ate at Sense - we had to pre-order the menu but the choice was lovely and the meal was excellent.

We were staying in the hotel and decided to eat here after hearing it had a michelan star. Firstly the view is fantastic - we were lucky to have a great window seat. Service impeccable. Food delicious. Enjoyed every second!!! Highly recommended!
