Had to wait five minutes for lunch here and the place was packed with Japanese customers (we were the only foreigners). Had the omikase at 3200 a head and it was excellent. We were only there twenty minutes because the food is prepared quickly in front of you but that was fine for us. If you want a more leisurely... More

Came on a friends recommendation and it was great! Had the omakase sashimi plate and some mixed sushi. All of it was excellent and they have a good variety. Menu is in English and Japanese with pictures do it's very easy to order. Chefs and wait staff were very friendly.

Located in the outer market of the Tsukiji Fish market, Sushisay is a local gem with fantastic fish on a reasonably priced (Y3600 as of June 2016) omakase menu. Smaller combos are possible as is a la carte (toro and shrimp being the standout pieces). Chefs were friendly, and the place wasn't overrun by tourists as nearby locations such as... More

Slightly disappointed after reading so many shining reviews about the restaurant. There are many good things about it, and it's by no means a bad place to eat, however it is not fair to compare it to Sushi Dai whatsoever. Myself and my boyfriend each ordered the Omakase set after a brief wait outside (5 mins or so) so we... More

Let's get the good bits out the way. The staff are very polite and hospitable. There are no queues, the price is reasonable and if you haven't had much sushi before you'll (probably) love it. However, it is in no way comparable to sushi dai. We had the omakase and whilst each piece of sushi was OK in itself, there... More

Superb fresh sushi just a stones throw from Tsukiji market. This place was recommended to us by a very friendly man in the Tsukiji market tourist information shop. It was only 10am and it was very busy with tourists (both Japanese and foreign) straight from visiting the market. The menu is extensive and included some seafood we'd never heard of... More

Excellent sushi restaurant in the outer market part of Tsukiji market. You don't ned to come at 5 Am and stand in line for 3 hours. The same quality and freshness as in the most famous restaurant but without killing yourself -all locals bring their friends there. Prefix menus are awesome and fit any budget, also you can order piece... More

I got the Omakase and it was fresh fresh fresh. This restaurant is quite more classy among other restaurant, more experienced chef, and the restaurant has two floors. Try to get to this restaurant around 9 am or you'll get a long line after.

We went to fish market and we chose the restaurant because seemed nice. Actually, no just seems but its the best fresh sushi and sashimi we eat at our trip! Not cheap, but quality and freshness are impressive. Also, you eat at the counter with the sushimen preparing your sushi in front of you. Loved it!

It was our first day in Tokyo and there were 7 of us including 2 children. We had a private guide take us around the city and show us some important highlights. Well this was definitely one of them! After spending quite some time at the tsukiji fish market we were ready for sushi! This place had the best O-toro... More
