The place has been known for serving traditional "Kushiage," Japanese deep-fried skewers for many years. Located very conveniently in the center of Ginza district, a minute walk from Subway Higashi-Ginza Station too. Try here if you would like to have authentic Japanese cuisine in its authentic ambient. I would recommend their chef special, i.e. the chefs bring you various deep-fried... More

Skewer fried what was stabbed skewer of wood or bamboo to fly. It does not use the chopsticks because food is stuck in the comb. You can not order other than drink in this restaurant. It just tells the stop if you first tell a poor food. It's you leave the order system of the Japanese style. Outside the center's... More

It is a traditional Japanese 串カツ restaurant. The music is American jazz. There is only bar counters with possibility to watch chef cook and small room. The atmosphere is very nice.

I arrived at 9.05pm and was greeted with a very unfriendly and unhappy face. When I told him (in English) 3 persons he looked at his watched and deliberated for 10 seconds before he said, we are closed. I told him that the sign outside said that they closed at 10pm (last order 9.30pm). The cashier glared at me and... More

We were brought here for lunch by our lovely Japanese guide who enquired what sort of food we wanted, and chose this lovely restaurant for us. Although not initially very hungry I enjoyed each of the skewers especially the pork stuffed mushroom and asparagus. There were also bowls of rice and pickled vegetables and miso soup. It was great to... More

At first you should visit this restaurant first at lunchtime. A chef fry various ingredients in front of you. You will be surprised at a performance.

My wife and I wandered around the block looking for a nice place to eat. We saw the sign at the top of the stairs leading to this basement type restaurant, that is typical all over Japan. The food was sold by the number of skewered foods we consumed; in our case we elected to try the 12 skewer meal,... More

Kushiage, deep fried on a stick. This was part of our AAA tour in Tokyo and it was delicious. The beef, pork, shrimp and the veggies were so delicious. My biggest surprise was the huge asparagus at the end. Unbelievable. We didn't know what to expect but it was all so very good. Our guides Matt Lucas from AAA and... More

Upstairs and out of the way, this is well worth a visit. Light, fried food (skewers) that keep coming until you say 'stop'!
