This is a great place to grab some sushi after paying a visit to the fish market. We had a little wait as the restaurant itself has minimal covers but I can assure you that it is worth the time outside in the humidity. Every...More

This is my favourite restaurant in the whole of Japan. Whenever we come to Tokyo, we will definitely come by to Yamazaki twice per trip to have our breakfast here. Our favourite chef here is Sato-san and the food here is excellent. For a mind...More

Quality comparable to Daiwa Sushi next door, but queue is much shorter. There was a young chef who could converse in English. When a couple did not have enough cash to foot the bill, he drew the location of convenience store and ATM on the...More

One of the best Sushi I have ever eaten 😀We were there at 9:00 am and there were 10 people outside. It took us 1 hour to get in but is was worth of It. Extremely fresh ingrediants and very polite staff.

After experiencing the tuna auction at the fish market we walked the area and found this restaurant nestled between other sushi restaurants with longer lines. There were 5 of us so we split up so we could be seated sooner. I ordered by favorites; maguro...More

Yamazaki Sushi is definitely the best and freshest Sushi I've ever tried. When we went there in the morning there was no wait. The style and look of the restaurant was very tradition Edo style. It was really cool how you sat behind the chef...More

Didn't plan to come here given the heat but line wasn't too long around 1130 so joined in. Waited 1 hour in total - was given some ice tea which helped. The nigiri is delicious and fresh. Must get is the fatty tuna - unfortunately...More

If you're an enormous fan of sushi like I am (one of my main reasons to visit Japan-foodie here), then you try and find the best and freshest place to wolf down some wasabi-licious pieces of raw fish. In this case, my visit was from...More

We've been here twice on our trips to Japan now. And it's really good. It is a small place and you do end up waiting if you come mid morning, we waited 1.5 hours but it was so good when we got in there. Plus...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
