I stayed at the Capitol Hotel several times and the food at Origami is great.
They have amazing Japanese breakfast and a very large buffet of American breakfast.
The quality is superb, the place is very nice and the service is amazing.
Having experienced their coffee corner, breakfast, lunch and dinner I think that Origami is overrated and needs to raise the standard to fit into the class, elegance and comfort offered by the Capitol Hotel. The food is just not up to standard.

I went to this place for lunch several times for business and breakfast both for business and with my family. The food is good, service is great and you have a very pleasant, upscale experience, while enjoying the view of the garden.
Its the all day dining for the stunning Capitol Hotel. We had lunch here and loved the comfort food after having a lot of Japanese food.
We had great pizza, pasta, and an amazing burger. Good break from Japanese food.
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
