I have been in Japan for two weeks now and Ramen is my favourite meal and this place was honestly the best. The pork melts in your mouth and the spices are delicious.

This was our first and last meal in Japan over 2 weeks, because it has the best ramen! Big juicy pieces of pork, much larger then any other place. The broth tastes amazing. I found mild chilli level good for someone who doesn't like much chilli

We spent a week in Tokyo and Kyoto and this was definitely our favorite ramen. Two spice scales: chili (burning) and Sichuan (numbing). The spice levels aren’t actually that aggressive (at least up to medium) so don’t feel obligated to get lower than you might normally.

So so so very tasty and in a great area to wander round for a drink afterward. We went for medium medium and low low which suited us both. The best thing was the pork - thickest slices we have had in any ramen shop and absolutely melt in the mouth. A must go!

Had a really good, spicy Sichuan pepper ramen here, with varying spice levels depending on your tolerance. Definitely worth a visit especially during a cold or wet day.

This place is a must do in Tokyo. The ramen was amazing. We ordered medium spice and it was perfect - noodles themselves were slightly spicy, and the broth was more so. Totally addicting! We arrived and there was a short line. When you are looking at the restaurant, look right and go through the small curtain to the vending... More

Oh my word this place is good! Best ramen I have ever had! Having said that, it ruined my entire next day due to chilli related abdominal pain. None of this is the restaurants fault at all of course. There are multiple levels of heat you can choose from and being a bit of a chilli head I opted for... More

Unbelievable. Keep in mind there are two spice levels. Be scared of the spiciest (healthy fear), but if you like spicy, go for the 2nd highest. Medium spice is not very spicy. I couldn't have asked for better. This place is busy, but the line moves fast. Enjoy!

I found this place with TripAdvisor after a long day of walk and was hungry for dinner somewhere close by. What a lucky find! It was night time and around New Years, so everywhere else was closed around the restaurant. The neighborhood was so quiet and dark and I almost was regretting walking here...little did I know, this place would... More

If you're looking for detailed information about the food, check out my other reviews of Kikanbo, as the quality of the food has not changed nor what they have on the menu. Kikanbo has gone full bilingual. The vending machine has all English options. The spice menu is now updated with full English. The queuing information is also in English.... More
