Bakery instructor highly recommend Viron Bakery. We arrived around 5 pm and there are not many breads in the counter. We picked almond croissant. Although I don't like the skin of croissant, it's a little to hard for me. But inside of croissant with almond filling are soft and taste.

Wandered past on way to early bus tour. Only the take out section was open. The staff were very apologetic. They did however make us a fine espresso and allowed us to enjoy our pastries while at the bar area.

We've had a late breakfast here on earlier trips (they only open at 11am) and the lovely quiche, croissants and brioche do not disappoint. In a warmer season, you can have a relaxing breakfast on the terrace outside. This trip we only had time for a takeaway - looking forward to some great tasting bread for breakfast at home tomorrow.... More

A boulangerie, patisserie and brasserie rolled into one at Shibuya, the cafe on the 2nd floor has a waitlist depending on what time you arrived. My first attempt on a Wednesday at 4pm saw me at #10 and I decided to return on a Thursday at 230pm and I was lucky to get a table. As it was just after... More

Viron Brasserie was a typical Japanese style French restaurants and provided atmosphere and good service and tasty food well presented. The lunch menu was designed for the local office workers and was good value and above average quality and style.

This was a nice find for dinner on our first night in Tokyo - very good, authentic French cuisine, well prepared and served, and we felt we had plenty of time in the 2 weeks ahead of us in Japan to eat Japanese food. Busy restaurant, with attentive staff.

I went here with a business colleague recently for lunch and was extremely impressed with the whole meal. The bread on arrival was just beautiful and the service very efficient. We both ordered the fish special which was 2 kinds of fish, grilled, served with seasonal vegetables and a lovely rich tomato based sauce with capers - really nice combination... More

The French food here has a strong Japanese influence--making it better than French or Japanese by itself. The baked goods are excellent and always fresh.

Their baguette is as splendid as it was 10 years ago. I've had lunch and dinner a couple of times at VIRON, which, if I remember correctly, has been located in Shibuya for over 10 years. I got an ardent impression of their bread, especially the baguette. It had a wonderful aroma and was supreme. I haven't encountered such an... More

We decide to give it another try during the weekends, and it was full to the brim! No seats were available for lunch, and it was only 11am! But we did ordered some baguette sandwiches to go and some eclairs. It was summer, and no ice was given for the chocolate eclairs. Luckily we were staying at Palace Hotel, nearby... More
