This pub is beautiful. Cosy and warm. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were staying close by celebrating a 40th birthday. I would highly recommend a visit. Menu is varied and we all had different dishes and we all loved it. You won't be disappointed if you fall upon this delightful in the new Forest.

We both had the baked Camembert for starter to share and it was amazing, this was followed by the roast beef Sunday dinner which was just amazing, the veg... More

We had visited this pub before in the evening but not for Sunday Lunch and we were not disappointed! Lovely choice of roast dinners and what I liked personally was there was an option of a smaller portion for the roast dinner which meant I had enough room for pudding! The pub has a beautiful garden with lots of flowers,... More

Popped in at 18:00hrs on Saturday (food served from 18:00hrs) and said "hello, do you have any tables for today"? The oldish orange lady behind the bar merely stated "we're full". No hello or I'm sorry we have no tables. Only one table was taken, some others had reserved for 19:15hrs. I wasn't going to write a review as it... More

Visited several times while on holiday in the New Forest last week. Fantastic food and Great Staff, was well looked after by Morven and her manager Will. Husband ordered the Rib-Eye Steak and it was cooked to perfection!! I had Fish & Chips which was wrapped in News Paper and was really attractive looking. Will defiantly return at Christmas when... Exploring this area and decided to look for a pub for Sunday dinner. What a great place to stop! Lovely old building, sat outside in sunshine and enjoyed a really good, well cooked roast.
