Description
From the renovation of an old farmhouse (adapting it to current standards) we recovered the premises suitable for the reception and the restaurant, there is also a veranda with 70 comfortable seats from which you can admire a beautiful landscape with a backdrop of mountains oliena and part of Orgosolo Supramonte. According to many, the mountains of the Dolomites are Oliena of Sardinia; while the Supramonte, for better or for worse, has witnessed the exploits of the most famous Sardinian bandits. The kitchen is strictly Sardinian and more specifically the Barbagia. The starters are composed of: meats (ham, sausage, bacon, capicola), cheese, cream cheese and salted ricotta cheese; then depending on the season alternating different pietanzei that can be braided lamb, pork offal, tripe, veal, suckling pig Catalan, combined with garden vegetables in batter, various pickled, fennel, etc.. The first: in addition to traditional ravioli (cheese / cottage cheese) and mallureddus, we have a pasta typical of Orgosolo called "maharrones Lados" (macaroni dishes), pasta made with durum wheat semolina served with a sauce flavored with herbs and flavored with Supramonte pieces of lamb leg meat. The main courses: suckling pig, lamb, goat or calf roast is prepared by reservation only, while it is almost always the sheep in damp cannonau. The contours and the fruit varies seasonally depending on the production of the garden. The dessert is the classic "Savada" with fresh sheep's cheese with honey or sugar.
