We stopped off here on a island tour ti have lunch. The food was good particularly the fish and we had a three course meal with wine for only 11 euros. Good value.

Visited this place on a Saturday Lunchtime whilst on a Bus Trip Tour of Gran Canaria. The Tour company has a special deal with this restaurant in that you can have a three course lunch for 11 Euros per person. For starters we had Chicken & Noodle Soup, which was a bit bland but we spiced it up a bit... More

We stopped for the lunch there, as we were on tour through the island. We had a complex lunch pre-ordered. Quality of the food is average, nothing bad, but nothing special, absolutely no additional emotions. Positive moment is that portions are big, negative aspect is that I waited for my main course about 15 min, which is too long, if... More

My wife and I were taken here as part of an island bus tour. The restaurant provides a good view over the harbour area, where the Fred Olsen express ferry could be seen arriving / departing. Our meal comprised - starter [ in our case, fish and meat salads ], main course [ steak and fish ] and a dessert... More

We ate here one evening but in hindsight would have chosen our dishes more wisely. The restaurant's large first floor room, overlooking the harbour, is prettily decorated and more comfortable than sitting on the harbour front itself. Our too huge plates of starters were a disappointment. The mainly potato-based fish balls were pastey and tasteless, and the baby calamari in... More

The fish seafood was good but not the best in town we had. However the homemade grandmother's mojo sauce was far and away the best we have ever had. A bit pricy at about 30 Euro per person for two courses and house wine but worth a visit.

Just saw this restaurant as we walked into the town and went in on the off chance. Lovely food and great value - I had Calamari, grilled whole tomatoes with Oregano and sea salt topping, roasted whole peppers and grilled onions. Together with a glass of wine this came to only €12.00 - we only spent €28 between us which... More

We visited El Capitan on a Monday evening in late February. The restaurant was quiet but we were given a friendly welcome and took a table overlooking the harbour. Before our main course we were given bread and a paella tapas on the house and we followed this with a mixed fish dish with noodles for two. To drink we... More

We ate here on our first night in Puerto de las Nieves and found the food and the outlook good. There is a .65 cover charge which is worth it to sample grandmothers home made Mojo sauce which was the best we have had anywhere. We had soup then 1 fish and 1 calamari then fruit along with a carafe... More
