We all really enjoyed the food here. I could list all the things we had, but everything was 5 star and so tasty

My wife & I have just returned from eating here and we both thought it was great value, with delicious locally produced food and wine, excellent service and a delightful ambiance. Would recommend it.

This place has a real traditional ambience just off the pretty main square with a great food and wine selection. Service is always with a smile and it's obvious that pride is taken over both the manner in which the food is cooked - and...in the way that it is presented. We sat inside on the high tables and from the very first sip of the recommended local red wine we were in heaven. This place brings together the best of Spanish tapas style dining - simple tasty plates in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are huge fans of Iberico ham and have become very selective over the years - La Trastienda de Chago gets my vote for the best yet. The delicately curried chicken and the tuna steaks were wonderful - and I'm still not sure how it's possible to make a pile of courgette slices taste so good! Oh, and finally - the serving staff and kitchen were exemplary in dealing with my wife's nut allergy. Top marks all round.More

We just wandered into this tiny space that legally seats about 26. There is also outdoor seating. The proprietor couple have gathered high-quality Canary Island products: wines, craft beers, and local foods. With a cute and authentic setting. One of the best foodie experiences Ive...enjoyed.More

Great place with a great selection of cheeses and wines. They also have a wonderful selection of local recipes like ropa vieja and chicken tempura that where delicious. It is not a restaurant, but a tapas bar tho; so don't expect to find a table.More
