We relied on trip advisor in choosing this lunch spot after cycling along the Camino. It was perfect. Superb food (300 year old oxtail stew recipe!) and great service. Even presented our children with two scallop shells to wear on their Camino. Very elegant place for lunch. Thank you!

A little gem. Delightful host makes you feel like an old friend, food delicious, regional, interesting and excellent desserts. We immediately rebooked for the following night and had completely different and just as delicious food. Pate, pork knuckle and carpaccio of pineapple with sorbet all stand out dishes. Well priced and short, local wine menu.

After a pleasant 36km walk found us at the door of Forgiveness. Went inside gr8 buzz in the place. Our host sat us down and recommended a selection of food. What a presentation! Top notch food and accommodation! Nicely washed down with bierzo red and white and the wonderful artisan wheat beer 'moustache'. Excellent coffee.

Our hosts were faultless and understood entirely what walkers want when they arrive, weary and in need of rest, a shower, warmth for themselves and their washing (in cold weather) and a good meal. We were given a very warm welcome. The room was delightful with myriad little touches to make it special, including very comfortable beds. The food was... More

These are some of the moments that make the Camino. After 36 plus kms we arrive at a beautiful little hotel and after a short walk about town, we return to a wonderful dinner. The hosts are great- our luggage was delivered to our room- only the second time in 26 days ! The rooms all have names and are... More

We were here for two days whilst on the Camino and had an amazing stay. The host was so gracious and kind. When we arrived, our luggage hadn't arrived yet and when it did, he brought it all the way up the stairs for us despite us asking him to just let us know and we would carry it up.... More

Excellent host, great food, we left the place happy and satisfied. We chose salads for lunch, the pheasant and the cod. We received huge plates of salad with excellent variety, bringing a big smile to our faces. Indulge in the desserts, worth the sin!!

Bierzo is also the home of one of the best producers in the region, Palacios, who make extraordinary wines in Corullon. Having tasted in their cellars, we went around the corner to this hidden little gem. No menus, no fuss, just beautifully cooked homemade food, lots of locally grown herbs and vegetables in a very relaxing, simple environment. We wish... More

I'm in my way of "El Camino" with my father and father in law and not only the accommodation was excellent, the food was a great variety of the typical regional exquisite and when you have all of this components and you mix with Herminio El camino turn more than familiar with his treatment, tips and adventures. And we received... More

The restaurant is kind of hidden ... If you walk by you would not realize what kind of jewel it is. I am doing the camino and this was by far the best meal of the trip (through the exhausting walk your taste buds are anyway sharpened:-) - I took the foi as a starter and it was amazing!! Out...
