We have just returned from having dinner here...our first choice restaurant was closed but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise as this ended up being by far one of our best meals here ever.. My husband chose fried cheese which was hot,fresh...and delicious and for me the goats cheese with honey and fresh herbs...to die for.., a platter of mixed fresh bread, olives and small slices of salami complemented both.. Next up, hubby opted for a fillet steak..very rare, ,chips and the best mushroom sauce i have tasted for ages...i had a wonderful fresh dish of sea bass carpacio with avocado...absolutely stunning ..especially as it was made to accommodate my allergy to bell peppers .We had 2 bacardis, a large bottle of water and a very excellent bottle of verdejo....fab, friendly ,knowledgeable service,.really spotless...cant wait to return..and all for just over 100 euro...cannot recommend more highly..More

18 Euros for 2 pieces of small prawns! And they said it’s because it’s fresh from Denia! And Denia is like... 1 hour from here. Most expensive local prawns we have ever eaten, more expensive than in New York or in Hong Kong! And the...waiter forgot to bring them to our table so by the time it arrived they were cold! Consider we are in the situation of COVID this kind of price scamming is really not nice. There are more genuine restaurants around giving better food and sincere portion. I think scamming tourists to make money is a passé. I hope this message can get to more ppl!More

We crashed here several times, sometimes for drinks and once for dinner. This is a very good and popular place. The food is authentic and very good. I really love the pulpo. Service is very attentive and very friendly! I recommend this place when you...are in Alicante.More

This is our favourite. Alicante is full of bad tourist restaurants but this is a casual gourmet restaurant. Same top quality food in the restaurant and terrace (Explanada de España. Also favourite by locals. Staff is also always very friendly. Arroz, rice dish (seco/meloso) highly...recommended.More

This place was absolutely terrible. We went here due to good reviews on tripadvisor but it is seriously the worst meal we have had so far in Alicante. We do not recommend this to anyone. The food was of very low quality.

We almost walked past but saw a few people waiting for tables and decided it must be worth the wait. And trust me it was. Some of the best Tapas in Alicante. We had the chorizo croquettes, the new Burrata salad, baked goats cheese with...herbs and honey and Patatas Bravas. Truly Amazing. Will definitely be back.More

Even if located in the center of Alicante, this gastro tapas bar is quite difficult to find. But it's worth the effort! The interior may not be the most cosy you will find in Alicante, but what is lacking in ambience is more than made...up for in the quality of food, wine, service and an outstanding price/quality relation.More

Café con leche, tostada con tomate, bole con frutas fresca. The bread is really tasteful and comes from their own bakery. Also the tapas and other dishes are good

Visited here a couple of times on a recent trip to Alicante. Great selection and quality of tapas here, very friendly and accommodating staff so no need to go anywhere else other than a change of scenery. Also applies to a sister venue 'La Terraza...del Gourmet' on the Esplanade. Doing a great job in both places.More

Food and staff was incredible, we didn’t have a reservation but we were lucky as you can hear the phone ringing all the time to reserve and people walking in also to make reservations an ask for specifics tables. We enjoyed the food a lot!

Hi, seems like others have already answered this, which is just as well as I 'm sure you can look it up on google maps or similar - find the restaurant and ignore the hotel, better value.
