This place is so good it's just ridiculous! It's usually very crowded and extremely hard to get a seat during the evening but it doesn't matter. Eat and drink standing up, you won't regret it. The staff is very friendly and service is faster than lightning. And the food is out of this world and usually delivered within minutes.

Amazing food with authenticity to match. Great to start off a night out. As a citizen of the world, this was the most delicious dinner I've had in months. You'd be a fool to be in Alicante and not try this place

Read about this place on trip advisor and saw tons of people outside .. But got a seat right away and looked after wonderfully. The food is AMAZING!! We didn't know what we were getting and each spoonful was a taste of heaven. We can't wait to go back!

We read good reviews and turned up but we did not realise it was more of a tapas BAR... There were no seats available. I'm sure the food would have been awesome as it was busy and that is always a good indicator. Unfortunately we needed to sit and so ended up going elsewhere. The service seemed good as the... More

We called in here on our third and last evening in Alicante. We were staying in Hotel Mendez Nunez just round the corner and had passed this place several times. It always looked busy so we got there about 7pm to have a look at the tapas etc. The air conditioning was a relief from the hot evening so we... More

Although prices have sky-rocketed this charming tapas-and-beer/wine place is my favorite. The food is well made and the staff makes it feel like a very domestic place to be. Don't go if you can't stand the staff talking back to you or deciding what you want - but do come if you like great tapas and an extraordinary experience.

Description
An emblematic Spanish tapas bar in the very heart of the city centre, just off the 'Rambla'. A small and cosy interior with a rich, energetic atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food, specialising in 'montaditos' (mini filled bread rolls)and a variety of tapas. Her 'big sister', Cervecería Sento Barrio, is just 500 yards up the road, in the Barrio district of the city, and offers outsdoor and indoor seating, with the same quality of service and food.
