About
The most iconic establishment across the whole L’Horta of Valencia that dispenses and commercializes tiger nut horchata. In 1979, Daniel opened the Horchateria in what later would become number 41 of Horchata Avenue, where they were already starting to receive visits from the most distinguished personalities of the age, such as Rafael Alberti, Salvador Dali, soccer players, bullfighters, artists, and prominent figures of all nationalities, fields, and walks of life. Daniel was a must-see if one wanted to savor what had already undoubtedly become the typical beverage of Valencia: horchata. Horchateria Daniel is still a must-see if one wishes to savor authentic horchata, 100% artisanal, and authentic

This clean and tidy shop is just a little way out of the old town of Valencia and serves tipico Horchata - a drink made from tiger nuts - it is white and pretty sweet and bland - not really to my taste. The fartons...More

This place was recommended to me and I soon found out why. The best priced deal for horchata and fartons. Fartons are pastries dipped into the horchata. Local delicacy. It’s very sweet but nice when eaten with the pastry. Staff in here were very friendly.

When you visit Valencia this is a must stop place for typical horchata drink and fartons. The kids at heart may also enjoy a variety of ice creams. However, watch out if you have food allergies, in my case to soy and some nuts. The...More

A pleasure to take the traditional horchata in Daniel. An ancient place with long tradition. Everything is exquisite.

This horchateria is a must to drink Horchata or chocolate and churros. Highly recommended if you are looking for a historical iconic place to drink horchata in Valencia

I don't think this place is worth the time out of the center. The fruton was a breadstick with icing on it. Compared to other places I had in Valencia, this wasn't very good at all. Wasn't very soft, reminded me of a hot dog...More

This "horchateria" is the best in Alboraya, tradition and quality are together when you order and drink a "horchata" served here. Totally recommended.

We are right now in this Orxateria in which the orxata is nice although not the best in the Comunidad Valenciana. The place is comfortable but the service is really poor. We have been waiting for one coffee and two orxatas for forty minutes, and...More

This place has good horchata but be careful they don't accept dogs, and even little ones on their terrace! But they do accept flies. My God, I have never seen so many flies in a restaurant! And of course they will give you the usual...More
