We went there for a change, the food was not cooked properly, the cutlery wasn't very clean, couple of the staff & manager was quiet rude towards us for being plus sized which we took offence too, some of the food tasted bland & old, so we will not be going there again.

We made the mistake of ordering our food there instead of phoning the order through. The food was very good and there was a pleasant waiting area. Would go there again.

My brother-in-law uses this place all the time as it is his closest Indian, so I have had the misfortune to go there with him occasionally in the past for takeaways. Service has never been good, they have realised at an early stage that the longer they keep customers waiting the more chance there is of selling more drink. In... More

Great place for take away or eating in. Tues £10 night and it's always busy best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

When our local Indian restaurant closed down we tried a number of different restaurants until we came across the Taj. Since then it's become our new 'local' Indian even though it involves a bit of a drive to collect the food (and despite another Indian opening up in our village). The food has always been excellent and the service matches... More

Nice restaurant, very good food and service. Reasonable prices especially on Tuesday nights. Had a great time talking with many of the local people too.

we went with friends on a Tuesday night, starter, main, side, rice or naan for a tenner! Great friendly staff and good service. They were obviously very busy, but we were really looked after and the food was delicious. Will definitely be going back.

Can't reccomend this place enough, the staff are so friendly, can't do enough for you, the food is the best, Indian is our favourite and this is one of the best, never had one meal that has been disappointing yet! One of our favourite places!

I went to the Taj on a Tuesday night as they had their special deal:2 courses for £10. It was packed. There was lots to choose from and it was excellent value. Will definitely go back.

Always have a takeaway from here every time I am back in the country. Telephone service is always polite and quick. The food is excellent, tasty and packaged well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
